The climbers are constructed from a high-strength aluminum alloy, which makes them significantly lighter than traditional steel climbers while maintaining durability.
This model is most commonly sold with 2-5/8″ tree gaffs, which are designed for climbing thick-barked trees. The gaffs are made of steel and are replaceable. They feature a “quick-change” two-screw design that allows for easy replacement or switching between different gaff types.
The climbers have a straight shank made from tempered aluminum.
The top sleeve of the climber is adjustable, allowing for a customized fit to the user’s calf length. The typical range of adjustment is from 15-3/4″ to 18-3/4″.
The bottoms of the climbers are textured and may feature a patented “Grip Strip” to provide better traction when walking on tree limbs. This strip also doubles as a wear indicator.
Climb Right spikes are manufactured in the USA .
The set weighs approximately 3.55 lbs (without pads or straps).
